Computer literacy, including an introduction to computer hardware, capabilities and limits of computers, the Internet, data transmission, and impacts of computing; use of productivity tools, including word processors, presentation programs, spreadsheets, databases and communications programs. Instructor: Shelton Adam Evans teaches high school students a college-level curriculum of technology, computer science, and graphic design. While teaching within the public and private school sector for more than seven years, Evans has owned a successful graphic and website design firm in Lakeport. A graduate of the University of Phoenix, Professor Evans holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and Advertising. He also has a California teaching credential in Information Technology. His instruction is dynamic and students will leave with a strong sense of accomplishment in their enhanced computer skills.
