Founded: 1932 by the Roman Catholic order, the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary

Degrees Offered: Associate of Arts and Associate of Science; Bachelor of Arts

BA Programs: Marymount College announces the addition of three BA Programs – Business, Liberal Arts and Media Studies – beginning in the fall of 2010.  These four-year degrees are in addition to the College’s existing two year Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees.

Student/Faculty Ratio: 16 to 1; Average Class Size: 17 students; range is 7 to 25 students

Students: 48 percent Male, 52 percent Female

Religious Identification: 50 percent Catholic, 50 percent other faith traditions

Students Geographic Distribution: 70 percent in-state, 15 percent out-of-state and 15 percent international students

Transfer Rate:Through graduation 2009, more than 90 percent of Marymount graduates transferred to four-year institutions of higher learning.
