The Learning Center at Marymount College is an exceptional resource that enhances the educational experience of our students through individualized learning assistance. This academic support department, responsible to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, is staffed by a Director and faculty members who are experienced and knowledgeable. The professional staff is augmented by qualified student staff members who are committed to helping their peers. The Learning Center’s programs and services include:
• Tutoring
• Study skills mastery, including individual study skills assessment and peer mentoring
• Support services for students with disabilities
• Space for individual and collaborative study
The Learning Center serves students of all levels, developmental through honors, including those with disabilities. We are committed to providing a comfortable learning environment which fosters respect and the belief that all students can succeed.
