We are currently inviting applications for full-time faculty positions in Business and Leadership available August 2014, subject to budget approval. Faculty who fill these positions will join a team dedicated to sustaining excellence and supporting a new vision for business and leadership education. Successful applicants will demonstrate a deep commitment to teaching and experiential education, along with an appreciation for the traditions and mission of the University.
Successful candidates will have:
- evidence of teaching excellence at the university level, along with a flexibility to teach a wide variety of courses in their discipline;
- the ability to develop and deliver courses in on-site, online and hybrid modalities;
- the ability to mentor student research projects in our undergraduate business program and our MBA program (pending WASC approval).
The candidate should have professional experience in areas of marketing, consumer behavior, advertising, integrated marketing communications, product development, public relations, journalism, marketing media management or marketing strategy. Expertise in digital/inbound marketing in areas such as social media, web analytics and search engine optimization is preferred. Entrepreneurial experience is a plus. This position will be located at our Lake County campus in Lucerne, CA.
A Ph.D. in Business, Psychology or related field from a regionally accredited institution. Graduating doctoral students with a completion date no later than August 2014 may be considered.
