Marymount Orientation is a great place to start. Led by the Student Orientation Staff (a group of seasoned insiders), it’s three days you’ll never forget. After early move-in – an orientation privilege – you’ll learn about your new campus, meet faculty and staff, work on a volunteer project and get an all-day introduction to Los Angeles. Our “Day in L.A.” outing hits local attractions, ranging from the Griffith Observatory to the Santa Monica Pier. Once school officially starts, get ready for Week of Welcome (WOW!).
It’s your chance to check out more than 50 student-run clubs and organizations and join the ones that interest you most. From the Pre-Medical Society to the Marymount Dance Team, there’s something for everyone.
The fun keeps going throughout the year, with games and food at Harvest Festival, trips to Disneyland during Spring Fling and acoustic music and poetry at the Coffeehouse event. There are plenty of surprises, too, such as random visits from the In-and-Out truck and the “silent disco” (imagine everyone rockin’ out with headphones). If you haven’t already guessed the secret to an amazing University experience, just remember these two words: get involved.
Our programs are designed for students who truly want to make a difference. Courses emphasize problem solving, communication strategies and a sense of entrepreneurship. With a focus on the future, Marymount California continues to
grow. We're expanding our campus, our faculty and our programs all to help our students realize their full academic and
professional potential. Grow with us. See your future through our eyes. It looks amazing.
